Nice I haven't tried the mavic derailleurs. Look nice. I have a random mavic pulley wheel and it has needle bearings inside. Personally I prefer the look of the new success. Like to hear of a comparison between the mavic and sachs

New success is very good quality
I can’t compare as don’t have the Mavic yet but will do so in couple days.

What was the difference between Mi80 and Mi80R? Only the groupset? This one looks higher spec'd (XT, Ritchey,...) than my DX equipped 1991 Mi80.
