Good evening,

Than you for the advice. Unfortunately I don't know much about technical aspects and its the only pictures we took.
What are "m guard eyes to read drops"?
Indeed it is a Coloumbus aelle. Thanks for the info on year of fabrication.
Is fillet brazed a good technique for frame building?

Sorry about all these questions!

hello again, if you look at the bottom of the fork you will see to the rear of the drop out .
a hole to anchor the mudgaurd stay usually a pair for the rear wheel also.if youv only got.
front , the fork could be a replacement.
i will let the thread tick on a while

and pm you some one who can prob give you exact details;date/name original spec, please do let me know when you get a result... on this thread.
any classic bike fillet brazed/welded or lugged is great :xmas-wink:

Hi there,

Sorry about the late replay I wasn't at our workshop.
After inspection it is written FOSSE on the work so like you said it is probably is a replacement. Thanks for all your help!

Re:

Both dropouts look to be bent out of shape also so could have gear problems unless these are aligned properly before a rebuild.
