Sore arse, cramped calfs, cold (morning) long rocky slog but crowd was brilliant!!
Right let's see if my pics will work, dislike using Flickr, but it's about the only thing I can fathom, even if it is so user-unfriendly.....
Part way up the first big climb to the mast, we had snow flurries..
But at least someone was still smiling, even if it was just one of the bikes lol
The weather and the mood did improve later in the ride, and the banter was top notch as always..
And the scenery was as beautiful as ever..
And although it looks nice and sunny here, I can assure you all, it was not..
We aren't crowded close together because we like each other, no, we were sharing body heat in the chilling arctic winds...
The only mechanical of the ride was Longys rear mesh, which decided it didn't like being a rear mesh anymore and promptly snapped just below the bolt that mounts it to the frame, so he single speeded it and still beat me on the climbs the ballbag haha!
All in all a good days ride, my knees aren't happy with me today, but oh well.
Nice to see some old faces again boys, and some new ones too, until the next one...!
Oh and final thought, can anyone remember just who owes who, some money lol

Thanks to everyone who made the effort. I really enjoyed that, think we had all 4 seasons in one day :facepalm:

Nice to see the photos and remember just how brrrrrrrr it was up by the mast, cheers Spudly.
