Longstaff MTB trike (w.Pace fork) FREE

I don't know if anyone saw it recently, but there was another Longstaff trike for sale on ebay recently that was dripping in retro gear, Pace RC36's, XT mechs, mavic rims, smoke tyres and hope mechanical disc's on the rear.

Well, my mate bought it as he's been after a trike for a while, and it turns out it was the one George Longstaff custom built for Derek Purdy himself, his son was having a clear out and what a stunner it is.

These are the eBay pictures

That is an amazing machine, I'd love a go on that 😍

Well, I went over to have a better look at it today and have a quick blast on it.

But, riding it was quite something the back end is really short and I ran over my own foot several times until I got the hang of it, then the street is excessively cambered so it just kept wanting to follow the camber and go around in circles, I even felt the one rear was buckled at one point.
I think practice on flat ground would be advisable at first 🤣
