Local Motion

I bought this pre 1993, I think I maybe even had it on a 1991 Townsend Titan.

Literaly just threw it out yesterday! Its sun faded and weathered but here it is anyway:

Hmm, tell me how to reduce the file size (dumbass I know) and I will post a couple of pics!

I seem to remember a local windsurfing shop in the Enterprise Centre in Chester, sold Local Motion gear - they also stocked Tushingham's.... if I only knew then what I know now!

Mr K

Local motion and cosmic trail were 2 seperate company's that both happened to be on the same industrial estate as each other in penzance! I am one of the original rock zombies and was also sponsored by cosmic trail. I do have brochures in my old magazine collection that i can dig out and scan at some point. I also still have my full cosmic race kit. I may get some pics soon.

There may indeed be pics of his race kit soon, as I'm borrowing it all for a charity ride next weekend. Anybody fancy sponsoring us (cos Mi16kie is riding as well, on the Death Tandem - ask him for pics)

Just found this piccy. Must have been taken about 18 years ago!

I still have a flouro yellow frame bag and a pair of pink long finger gloves like those above.

I also remember their ad. It pictured some famous UK racers of the time (Gould etc?) and listed their palmares. At the end of the list was a grinning OAP (Charlie??!!) with his victory being some race around a carpark or something.

The frame bag would only fit bikes of that early era due to the changes in geometry. It was perfect for my 1987 Dawes Wildcat but wouldn't fit the 1990 Saracen Kili Flier Comp.

they were based in cornwall. Penzance IIRC. I think it may have been to do with the guy that ran the Bike Chain in Redruth (Ricci Ltd).

my nos corner pad and bag

I had a saddle bag with a foam insert with cut outs for a T handle and bits. The bag rotted away years ago, but the tools are still in my Hydration Pack.

Always brightly coloured stuff. Good stuff as I remeber it
