Bought in 1990. Used about 5-10 times, then hid in a cupboard for 18 years! :shock:

Onza L-bend bar ends 1993/94
Where the top of the range Onza alloy barend in 93/94, think they were about £50 then too!
Nice L-bend, very useable positions, ovalised tubing at clamp weld for rigidity
Black anodised, much anodising has worn off, but could be polished up silver like a mirror!
Titanium bolts, minimum clamp width for less interference
Plenty of light marks but decent condition and never been crashed. Would look awesome with the anodising off and polished up, or even just painted. Could be made mint very easily.

X-Lite Alto Pro I bar-ends
The very first welded stubbie-pro direct from X-Lite in 1992-93!
Superlight polished alloy, titanium bolts, special threads, domed ends, OCS clamps.
These have been lightly used but are in mint condition, nearest to NOS you will find!
These are the earliest version with the rare full smooth polished finished, not knurled or logo'd.

DT Swiss Onyx front wheel, XM317 36h rim, DT spokes
Damn nice handbuilt superstrong non-disc front wheel.
The DT Swiss Onyx hub is a light yet superstrong, oversized mega-rigid affair to help keep our noodly retro suspension forks tracking straight! Super super smooth. A superb quality and damn expensive hub, about as good as Chris Kings.
Mavic XM317 36h rim in black, very strong.
DT Swiss spokes in black.
And I will even supply a brand new Velox rim tape!
The wheel has not had much use at all really, the hub is liquid smooth, no play anywhere, rim is straight and hardly any wear at all to braking surfaces (UB Control machining marks are still visible). Wheel is true as well so no swishy-swishy on the brake blocks torturing your mind as you struggle uphill (worst thing ever!!).
