Would be grateful for any info on this frame (brand/builder/bike shop?), branded Centaur and made from Columbus EL. It features a rear monostay and aero profile columbus forks. Original wheels included the smaller 650 front wheel set-up. Thanks
A brand I've not come across before. And that's a Mavic 'Starfish' crankset? The monostay was/is (I believe) a standard CeeWay frame building fitting used by several builders. Nice bike.
Yes thanks, it has a Mavic SSC groupset, which the owner is aware of. I was hoping to let them know some info on the maker if I could find that out for them- but nothing obvious coming via online searches and like you, it's not a brand I know, but it's a high end frame!
Sorry not familiar with this name as never heard of it & when I first saw it I thought Dave Lloyd custom with custom decals but need to see the head tube badge closer up pic
@Nob I think that's a good shout. No headbadge: torn/removed unfortunately. Bike now sold by owner but he thinks it came from a local NW UK based time trialist (female) so could well tie-in. Thanks.
