Litespeed Titanium M950 XTR Build

Hi all,

Relatively new to the forum however have been an avid watcher on this site for a few years.

Having attended the Malverns festival for the past couple of years and visiting the retro bike stand it really got me interested in doing my own build.

So. Its still a work in progress but here is my current progress. I'm not in a rush to complete it but technically all I need are some forks, bars, and a saddle and it could be ridden.

Picked up the Litespeed Toccoa from pinkbike today from a guy who was only 30miles down the road.

Then the XTR was delivered over the past few weeks.

I am particularly chuffed with the clean chainset and brakes provided by a forum member after answering my wanted post.

Plans going forward are to find a set of Pace Rc36 Evo forks and decide on bars, stem and seatpost... Likely raw titanoum but I have no idea on brands to search for.. Would welcome suggestions.

Anyway, its a work in progress but I hope you like the stockpiling this far.

Loving how helpful and friendly people are on this forum.

Looks ace buddy, glad the xtr is going to a good home. And from one litespeed to another 😎
Cheers. I was going to message you about this post bu you beat me to it.

Ah I didn't realise your was on a litespeed as well. Sweet.

I'm really pleased with it. Thank you

Looking forward to this build 👍

Here's mine from last winter sometime!
OK that looks lovely. I must admit if I can't get my hands on a set of Pace Rc36 Evo forks the next up will be the Sid world Cup forks like yours. A perfect combination but hard to find it seems.

Really really nice looking build that. You have inspired me!

I think a set of pace would look ace. I wish those were the world Cup sids.. These are just the xc c3 versions

Some more goodies arrived today for the build.

The purple jockey wheels to start linking in the purple Hope Ti glide hubs.

Gold bolts to eventually tie into the ti nitride pace rc36 evo forks (currently escaping my grasp) and various other components like the pedals etc.

So the forks arrived today which allowed me to start test assembling things.

It's coming together nice and I am loving the colour contrasts between components.

Ordered a new set of fork graphics from Gil but also requested that the Pace yellow is changed to a more matching yellow of the Litespeed logo. A "primary yellow" as he called it.

Looking forward to a few more deliveries and getting it in some natural light outside to decide on a few more bits and pieces.

Love it. Really classy.

(If I was to change one bit so far I’d have black rims to match the black components)
