I now also have one of these, ... they ride well, don't they just!... The geometry seems to be dialled better, with more stable handling.

Shhhhhh! It's our secret IMHO they are the best handling frames ever (but I am very biased). I think it is a '93 but cannot prove it. The only firm evidence I have is that after this date they moved production of the ti frames to Taiwan - to save production costs - sorry, make more money.
Still waiting for a few key components; groupset, stem, seatpost and wheels, to arrive before I can continue with the build.
Onza Canis 2.25's. Have'nt ridden them off road yet but they look and feel good. Anyway, I like Splashbacks. Despite the odd tread pattern they work really well.
