Lightest Steel Frame?

I love this thread. Honest steel bike *frame* weights are hard to come by.

With paint my large cielo road racer disc is 1795g. One of the stiffest bikes I've ever ridden. Columbus Life.

I am still stunned how Tange managed to get a 'normal' steel frame to come in at 1250gr. With paint, and no fancy 3D printed bollocks.

Fair play to them, that's a whole 500gr lighter than an equivalent Reynolds 753. I would gladly trade my fairly hideous big tube carbon effort for one of these. (For the record my carbon 52cm frame is 1210gr)

It is insane... Personally, I always liked the feel of Tange tubing. They are light and very lively in MTB and road. The new tubings they have are now on another level.

If someone doesn't capitalise on these new Tange tube sets and go toe to toe with boring, predictable carbon then they're a mug! This could well halt the decline of steel builders packing it up. A 5.5kg steel road bike? Yes Please....
