Reduced Lightest square taper cranks in the world?!!

It is 'a' solution but not one that I would use on a beautiful Italian Columbus SLX frame...my touring bike has a 44T large chainring but the front mech is band on and not braze on...Horses for courses etc.

Maybe plug the bolt hole on the derailleur and cut a new thread higher? Obv if there's enough meat!

I've seen these cranks on aliexpress

They are advertised for folding bike (brompton) upgrades

There are some 110 bcd on there too as well as hollowtech versions

I was thinking of them for a poor man's cook bros look
