I finished this a few weeks ago, an '88 Stumpjumper Comp with a random assortment of 'don't care if they get trashed' parts and my first attempt at drop bars. It works a lot better than I thought right out of the gate, and I'm still grinning about the perfectly-matched bar tape.

Origin 8 'Gary' bars are OK, but I'd prefer a wider bend and more flare, especially with heavy winter gloves on. Old Weinmann levers pull the rear U-brake just fine and I was still able to fit 2.25's in the back (barely). Pics are from it's maiden voyage.
