lets see your winter bikes

Winter Bike

In Sweden people ride their bikes all year round, with no modification at all. Most ride those grandma bicycles, damn hard to ride in the snow and use back pedal brakes but they still do :? . Single speed is the only way to go as gears freeze and cease to work, Canti's seem to work fine but you have to keep a cable brake set up.

Here is mine, I have tyre's that have tread that don't flick up snow or mud.

Four miles short of my 7500 annual miles target as I took this earlier today. And as the snow re-started the rear tyre decided to adopt the same pressure as the outside world. Chilly changing the tube....but home on 7501 miles!
