My second mtb, which was the first "build" I ever made, is a Hercules Titanal. I still own it.

Peak finder from 1984, Overburys effectively copied the Moots mountaineer of the day, it was fitted with deerhead mechs and takagi chainset. This was re-enameled 20 years ago from the sombre brown colour it was originally. I recently added some deore parts and nitto bars to get it back on the road again. The campag road dropouts are a pain and no good on an MTB , originally this bike had very long solid axles that snapped easily, QR ones are much stronger. Overbury's also mixed JIS and British BB and headset sizes and threads to make restoration projects extra challenging!
