Bit of bottom bracket advice needed. Today, the drive side cup (right hand thread, Italian) came loose on a ride. Now I'd threadlocked this cup before and done over 100 miles without issue, but it came loose again.
Did I not torque it up enough the last time I fastened it on? Or should I accept that it's always going to have a tendency to loosen itself and therefore replace it with an Italian-threaded cartridge bottom bracket (with correct taper for the crank)? At least a cartridge bottom bracket won't unscrew itself as the bearings are locked away inside.
