The CTC is a great forum for this, they have a dedicated part of their forum for it. There was an article in the magazine a few months ago about different ways of doing it. A guy on a recumbant, one chap on a Raleigh Chopper...

I've never done it, wouldn't mind giving it a go.

A friend of mine has just completed it,took him 10 days to ride 900miles,we followed his progress on facebook, his partner followed him in a motorhome as support and food/rest stops.

quite an acheivement,he was in training for it for months

Anyone done it? or plan to?

Therealkw15 ;)

I know ;) :)

I'd have done it by now if it wasn't for the pesky ME. Might never do it now but I live in hope, its the classic brit cyclists epic and you Kaiser must do it ;)

He said that Cornwall was the worst bit iirc, all hills and hard work to start the ride off, from Devon to Wales was fairly quick,he seemed to get there really fast anyhow, then towards the end in Scotland it got hard again due to the weather, strong winds and colder
