Hello. My first french frame which I picked up today. Apologies about some of the pics as I suffer from the tremors esp when taking photos. I was impressed by the lugs and hopefully as the decals say it is 531sl. No serial frame number. Any comments welcome

What’s the red frame in bubble wrap

Hello. It's a Freccia Racing Concorde Frame which has featured in a couple of older posts when it was built up. It's Columbus EL & EL OS. A really nice frame. Thankyou

Thanks Hamster. I thought it would be a good time for a french frame with all it's tube size oddities. It was £140 with a Velo Orange and VO headset. I thought it was an okay price. Thank you.

I think that's more than Okay!
Admittedly if it was a Mercian it would be twice as much, but I bet nobody could tell the difference riding in the dark!

I love my old Witcomb - again not quite fashionable or well-known enough.

I've seen a Witcomb on FB Marketplace as a single freewheel set up recently. It is silver, 531 Butted Frame Tubes(?) and located in Dartford Kent. I think they wanted £100. I have no idea of the model but I thought it looked very nice and an okay price. I nearly bought it until I saw the Lejeune and realised it was 531SL. All the best.
