Wanted Left hand friction shifter OR downtube band-on mount and cable stop

Funny one, does anybody have a cheap left hand shifter they could pass on for me to take apart for its mount so I can put this nice shifter on my partner’s handlebars please? Turns out the band-on mount on the Orbit tourer we’re building for her won’t take it (the mounting posts are circular, not squared off, pictured) and if I’ve gotta buy another bit I think it’d be better to have the shifter up top and use the band-on mounted cable stops we have.

Alternatively… guess we could do a new band that will take the shifter and then I’ll have to find another cable stop for the right hand side so we can use the trigger shifter with it. If anyone has those!
