It's a Peugeot, no wait it's an Audi, no it's a Peugeot, Audi.....

I'm a little suprised to see that Audi have gone for the tin top rather than the open cockpit, guess they have their reasons

Even though it looks mean as ****, I think I prefer the look of the R10

Zer closed car is more efficient than zer open car.

Diesels will run a smaller tank again next year so they need to make aero gains to get the same number of laps per tankful as the petrol runners. An open car was quicker to change drivers in too, but now the number of mechanics is limited that advantage is gone as it takes longer to change the tyres and refuel as it does to change the driver.
From now on at Le Mans every second counts. It is no longer a waiting game. Its flat out from start to finish.

Most teams will be going for closed cockpits in 2011 to take advantage of better aero. Except the blundering Brits at Aston Martin who have gone from a closed car to an open one

Beautiful motor though.....how fast it go , how fast .!! :P :P

Depends on gearing but in low drag form with Le Mans ratios around 230mph.

Average speed over 24hrs was 243kph this year.

It will spend 85% of the 24hour race distance at full throttle and lap times will be around 3m:20s. Distance over the 24hrs was 5,410.71km this year- a new record. During that time its predicted to use 11 sets of tyres. Pretty impressive stuff to last so long in such a tough race.
