Lawwill/Control Tech Leader, anyone familiar with these?

my experiance over the past few years on a set of these is good. Good rigidity, control, brake operation, and supsension performance. I am concerned that there are a lot of pivots to one day replace, but thats what machine shops are for. . ..
The risse shock works well, isn't so hard to work, and as pat says, are still in business for spares. Al lot better than can be siad for contemporary RS mag/ retro Judy/ CNC era manitous. . .

I didn't get to ride it but it feels really nice just sitting on the bike and compressing. Kind of reminds me of my old mag 21 but with no flex. It's nice and firm so i am assuming it is holding air pretty well, as i cant see the last guy who owned that bike owning a shock pump. Really nice forks

Between 70-90 pounds air pressure in the shock, depending on your weight, should set it up. You can also change the damping oil inside-55cc of fork oil, it comes in 2.5 weight increments and I usually used 10 weight oil, although if you want to slow down or speed up the compression/damping you can use lighter or heavier oil to suit.

I've put about 30mi on my lawwill, I like the fork but it seems to me like it handles square edge hits (hitting a curb/ rock straight on) kinda weird. Nothing bad, just takes some getting used to...

I'm out in east hampton, i'm alway happy to find more folks to ride with but i just found a JUDY FSX with the total air system so this may be finding a new home in the near future depending on how things work out. Where are you located? I havent been doing much besides stuffing my face & drinking beer this past year so im fat and slow :cry:

I'm about 20 min south of Albany so we're not really even close.. but if you ever in the area and feel like doin so real riding in the mountains, let me know..
