First one has been on and off eBay for years, well overpriced.
Saw it first around late 2019, around £60, in state but was recovering from injury so could not get it.
Recognise it as had reflective stickers now removed and original yellow paint patches on forks and frame.

I think they're both overpriced. For those prices I'd want an absolutely mint one, and even then I'd still feel like I'd paid too much, given the market right now. I have looked at the second one (21") on and off for a while, as they rarely come up in my size, and I always coveted this bike as a kid. But I don't think I really want a 30lb boat anchor with a crap groupset any more, no matter how great the paintjob is. Not unless I could score one for under a ton, anyway!

Hold on for a 1990 Cinder cone, a much better bike. Build quality in 1990 was, ah, variable shall we say! I had four 1990 Fire Mountains and three Lava Domes, my only Cinder Cone was much better.
