Laurent Frieden is a dude who took me back to early mountainbike years with the help of his gorgeous collection of vintage racing bikes. Glad we had a chance to talk.

If you want to know his story, check this out: https://www.starykola.cz/blog/laurent-sberatel-mistrovskych-kol-en.html

Over the years I have transformed myself from a collector into an occasional (Czech) journalist. I try to capture the stories of people in our comunity. Hope you will be inspired.😊

Read it last night and really enjoyed it!

Hope to see more interviews for big and small name collectors in the future...

I write for the Czech MTB magazine Velo. If it's an interview with someone from abroad, I try to provide an English version.:)
In this case Laurent and his wife helped - btw how did you find the translation?

I got a great report from Mountainbike Museum in Arhem. But unfortunately without translation to EN (volunteers welcome!).

I also welcome tips on collectors and other interesting people from the community.🙏

Thé EN translation appeared on my FB timeline from someone I follow.

I wish I had the time and language skills to help you with the translations. Perhaps using a tool like DeepL can cut some corners although it’s certain that will not produce miracles with the 1st translation draft.

Keep posting here your articles and I will try to translate them with DeepL

Thanx!
Yeah, DeepL is my first choice. But it needs to be fine tuned then.
No need to hurry. Sooner or later, I ll find some native speaker and move higher:)

Thanks @lukash!
Since our interview this summer much more happened and I'm getting more active in promoting and sharing the history of MTB Racing! :D
Many new projects, like this Yeti DH8 prototype (photo), a custom Troy Lee Designs painted Ultimate, 2 of Missy's Team Global bikes.. etc

Here's a link to an article from The Radavist about our first "VELO COSMOS - Bicycle Lifestyle, Art & History" event.
