Close, but not quite. If it was the right combination of complete/original/local/being given away for almost nothing it would probably do the trick.

I do like it though. It’a the correct flavour of bike.

Perfect! Raleigh quadra, 22.5” - 1988? Ticks all the boxes, was down the road and less than a ton. Well chuffed.

On the plus side the seatpost and stem both move easily and were well greased, and the chain is still good so freewheel should be OK - i’m guessing it’s the original making this pretty low miles. Everything is working pretty smoothly too, there are no signs that this has been left in the rain/under the sea for decades.
