Last Call for Scottish Retrobikers

I'm paddling that w/e (both days) but would be up for another day. (I'm sort of qualified, a Yorkshireman been living and working in Scotland since the late 80's, hardly ever ridden S of the border ;) )

hi guys

I live across in Northumberland but the Outlaws live at Dalbeattie. Anyone here frequent the 7Stanes at Dalbeattie? When we're across visiting, I can be found trying to kill myself on slipery duck boards on the Blue Route (not brave enough for Red yet).

Haven't managed to visit Mabie, Ae or Glentress yet.

Unfortunately, I'm broken at the moment so no off roading for me - Doc will allow normal riding only

However, when I'm finally fixed I wouldn't mind catching up with you all. That's if you'll accept a Welshman living in England riding in Scotland!

You'd be more than welcome mate :D , as Velo mentioned just keep an eye out for MacRetro in the Meets section and give us a shout :)

Hope you get yourself fixed soon ;)

McRetro

Currently out of the country and injured to boot :( That's the first and last time I try a duathlon

Does McRetro ever come to the frozen wastelands of the North? Glentress is a bit of a hike from the NE! If not are there any other NE based retro owners out there??

Bought a place in Huntly, but house prices down here at the mo mean I can't afford to actually move there yet. Looking forward to the riding when I do :). Think most retromeets will be a little far away though :-(

Ah, Huntly - 'the family town'; in other words everyone is called Morrison!!

Perfect spot as a base for biking. Easy trails at Gartly and in the Clash Forests, single track stuff not far away at Pitfichie and Aviemore (and the rest of the Cairngorms) less than an hour and half drive. Great choice!

So that's potentially two in the NE faction
