WTF? Buyer is openly considering offers outside of eBay...grounds for listing termination. Would also like to point out that with a top tube sloping like that I'm pretty sure the bottom bracket is clearly stamped as an 18" c-c frame not a Large as listed or a 19.5-20" as suggested by the friend of the lister that gave the bike a glowing report.

deffo a large, as to where the cable comes out of the back, a medium has the rear pivot in the middle (im looking at one as i type)

When that was built they were still sizing in inches. The modern day s,m,l didn't start until they moved toward the modern day geometries with the more radically sloping top tubes. If this 18" were a large what were the 19" and 20" frames back then? XL and XXL?

There were 3 size choices for the '97 STS-2: 16", 18" or 19".

I'd be inclined to agree that this an 18" but it looks taller, possible due to the rear shock- the spring doesn't look to be sitting right to me.

its a 20" frame!
i have one sold for a longer time,to big for me.this was not a 19".
97er GT catalog:STS 2 14,5/16/18/19 and 20"

Nope, mine is an 18"
