Been a while since I asked this and to be honest, it was relegated to the shed.

but after a ride on my other bike, I decided to have a bit of fun with this frame.

this is how it looked:

for the last 3 weeks its been at a metal workers having the v brake mountings removed from both frame and a set of Mosso rigid forks I have.
All threads are being re tapped and renewed, with a finishing gloss black powder coat.....Alot of work for an old frame?

Well im a 20 stone fatty and i need to start working off the weight.

the plan is to make it a rigid framed with disc brakes for road and smooth trail usage .

i would like to go 18/20 speed with a double up front with 9/10 on the rear.

any suggestions on mechs for front and rear .


Pick up frame tomorrow will post pictures of finish etc.

Looks fun. I would use Deore bits, lightish, strong and great value.
