Land Shark softail- £300!? - fillet brazed 853, fox fork inc

Regretfully, I have to put this up for sale... Bought off US Ebay last year (I think off a forum member?) with every intention of building up and enjoying, however circumstances have changed (first born on the way!) and I can no longer justify the sheer number of bikes and frames, so some have to go

To start with, I'll let a few pictures speak volumes for the sheer beauty of the paintwork (I will get better pics up in the next day or two, but these will give you an idea):

Paint is by no means perfect, plenty of chips and some decent scratches unfortunately, this bike has been used. But even with these blemishes it is still an outstanding piece of bike art and something I'd love to keep, but needs must

Sizing is 15.5" centre BB to centre TT, 18.5" to the top of the seattube. Toptube is 21.5" or thereabouts.

Comes with a set of matching green painted Fox Vanilla RLC's, unsure of year but they look to be working perfectly.

Asking £340 PLUS POSTAGE. I am happy to post worldwide, however will insist on using a fully recorded and insured method, cost to be calculated and added to the sale price.

210 views and not one comment... :( :?

If I'm being totally bonkers with my asking price, then let me know, happy to be educated by the Retrobike massive... :D

And if you're at all interested in the frame, feel free to make me an offer!

Sorry I am not in the market for another build at the moment, but that is a nice frame, I have a soft spot for soft tails and that one has a lot of style about it.

What an incredible paint job, didn't realise Klimt was still alive and painting bicycles!
I've not heard of the maker before so have no idea of its value, but the asking price doesn't seem excessive, considering the quality. :)

Thanks guys, appreciate your comments. Here's some info about Land Shark Bicycles and John Slawta, the founder and artist:

http://landsharkbicycles.com/about.html

Not sure on what year this frame was made, I have emailed John to see if he can tell me, but there's no serial number so not sure if he'd be able to trace it or not.

that is bloody gorgeous

I absolutely love it...........

skint though

Fork is a Vanilla RLC, not sure on spring in there, but I have a few spare that I think will suit it, so all bases should be covered...

Frame is still available... open to offers from any interested parties :)
