Lacquer on a titanium frame?

My De Rosa ti bike has a layer of lacquer. Apparently this was done to apply the stickers without having 'jut out'. So the effect was like having painted logos. A pile of s##t. Not the lacquer has peeled off in some places and got yellowish. I'm having it stripped soon

So, frame has arrived and it is indeed titanium with lacquer over the frame and decals. A bit annoying as I'd have to sacrifice the decals to tidy it up, and it does have a few chips and bubbles.

Should I bother or leave it as is?
