From the pictures it looks as though this version has a few improvements over the previous one.
A quick release clamp rather than the screw down knob for one.

I have one of the originals which I use when washing bikes. It stays outside in all weathers.

It has it's limitations though, namely that you have to clamp onto the top tube and find the point of balance if you want the bike level. Clamping onto the seatpost means the bike will rotate downwards with the front wheel wanting to find the floor.
There just isn't enough strength in the clamp.

My Park PCS-10 is at least 10 times better, but it was about four times the price.

For £30 though, it is hard to fault.
