Just bought some ceramic rims (thanks Suburbanreuben) and wondered what brake pads people recommend?

I'll be using XTR M950 brakes, so:

Koolstop blue?
Swissstop green?
Anything else?

If you don't mind spending a bit SwissStop are a lovely brake pad. Then again just picked up some from decathlon for 6 euros that work a treat.

shimano make their own ceramic insert for those brakes, used them in the past and they were fine.

I would no use Shimano, I did so on my Crosmax Ceramic, On one muddy ride i nearly kill my wheel, the ceramic coating suffer a lot! Never happen with Swi.stop blue, Use them for 2 years, Not the best in the wet, but king on your ceramic rim,

Not too sure about ceramic rims, but I'd certainly use a ceramic specific pad, in my experience both Koolstop and Swisstop are a cut above Shimano, which are in turn a cut above Brand "X", but you do pay a premium for them.

hi mate
Have been using the disco brakes ceramic green pad for the past year and a bit, they have done the job in the dry not so great in the wet but then v brakes are not as good as disc brakes but no damage to the rim and they are cheap!!! hope this helps
regards
