And here's my '94 explosif (just SS'd) after a nice muddy ride in Epping.

Does anyone know the 'Magic ratio' to eliminate the tensioner, I've been told 32/17 or 34/16 can someone confirm?

I'm also looking for some suspension so if you have anything that will fit drop me a pm.

Thats pretty cool! Mate had one when new, tore the headtube clean off the first frame, then the warranty frame collapsed the downtube like a coke can landing off a jump, haha.

Why the tensioner? isn't the BB fixed to the swingarm?

Yes, but the vertical dropouts allows no tension adjustment like horizontal ones so a tensioner is required.

Oooo a lesser-spotted 97 King Kikapu. I haven't seen one of these apart from the catalogue.

Looks like it's had the rear pivots welded up like all '97 Kona full sussers.
Mine included
