My thoughts with this bike are to use some of it's parts on the 1993 Kona Hot I'm hoping to close the deal on. Primarily the fork stem and seat post, would they be suitable?

While it is wearing a Control Tech stem and Project Two fork, I couldn't tell you if they're the proper one. You can tell if P2 is triple butted by checking the steerer for markings. I can't recognize the seat post

ooh yes. Quite shallow so I am not too bothered though. Might try a glue pull out at some time.

1999 Kona Explosif I picked up a week or 2 ago. It didn't need a lot of work, only a rear hub service since it was hard to turn. Next thing to do is to find more adequate pedals!

Interesting -- I have the same year's model, but the paintwork is slightly different -- no red head tube!
