what happened to all the ppl in line for this??? it's like the mystic unicorn that everyone asks about and now that it's here, no one wants it. :?

I put myself in line for these, but i just can't afford the asking price......would love them though :( ....don't think my offer would be even close to what is being asked. Will be interesting to see what they fetch....

at the time only potential trades were being entertained & I've found a fork elsewhere.

last pair i saw on ebay went for 200 squid, but that was like 2 years ago. they are a funny thing ti p2s, ok they rare, but they look like steel ones and only weight a little less. if you desperate for ti forks there are others out there to buy new for under 200 so it really would be just to have a pair of ti p2s. logically they are unjustifyable.
pretty sure someone will stump up for them, but i doubt theyd admit to paying so much.

ti p2

this fork retailed for 800.00 cad in 1992 do you think it is worth less than that today?? it is up to a buyer i guess. have you seen the prices of bmx junk lately?? or scott mathauser brake pads. any one who knows about this fork has good taste in bikes and knows there shit. if you can't afford to buy it just appreciate it for what it is and get over the fact it isn't yours and won't be if $$ value pops into your head. when i bought this fork i didn't even hear the guy say 800.00 i just pulled out my wallet and paid to have the sweetest fork i could find. that was a long time ago, i think i was 15 at the time.hmmn

was that referring to me? if so you are misunderstanding my comments. im just saying what they have gone for in the past, and that logically they will never be worth the price as a pair of forks, only as a collectors object. nothing wrong with that. you admit as much yourself when you say they will never be mine if i think about the price.
i'll say it if you want, if i had 1000 dollars to crap away without thinking, then yeah id have them. hey i know ppl that pay more for a piece of eq in online rpg's, and id sure rather have some ti p2's. i just think they are mentalists too :)
