Kona sex one 1996, is there any out there?

more progress now some more in keeping retro but mostly not late 90s z1s , kenda nevegals , juicy 3 on the front I lost one of the pins from the v brakes , xt front hub 317 rim front end is a lot more solid now the sids were all over the show I have a matching wheel for the rear just need to think of a way to mount a disk brake also I have made a chain guide out of a truvativ boxguide and an xt front mech cost $3 for the mech.

One of my pedals self desructed on the way home the nut on the end on the shaft gave up and a other one doesnt want to come off so mismatched bit annoying haveing one grippyer than the other.

It rides great big improvement over how it was when I got it. The front end is very stable but possibly a little undersprung brake dive and ditchs can be a bit unnerving and it really would be better with a 11-34 cassete on the back. The nevagals are also a lot slower than the crossmarks. But not being nervous about whether or not it will go the way the bars are pointed is great.

No catalogs sorry I do have the original manual for the bike not really much use though interesting that the bars and post were only ment to last one year.

It has a section recomending the kona racelight bars should be replaced after one season and that kona had a half price exchange system through the dealers I think it included the racelight post to 100% sure and its raining and dark outside so not keen to go find the manual. They seem to have held up fine for the last fifteen though.

Have seen pic's and its a cracking bike its a 1995 one, i think Paul may keep it as he has kept in lovely condition.
