Kona Score Titanium frame

The purchase of a new singlespeed sadly means I need to sell the Kona Score frame recently bought from SteveK.

I have owned this for a while but never got round to building it, apart from fitting a Chris King headset. It's a Medium (17"), designed for 100mm forks and compatible with disc or V brakes.

£650 frame only or £715 for frame and Mint Chris King headset, + postage. Seatpost and front mech not included.

When were these on sale? I remember the king kahoona and Hei Hei....

This looks lovely....

Yes and no. Nice there aren't so many around ;) Expensive to make, and being a freeride bike, they aren't so popular with the xc crowd. It's a ½ kilo heavier than the Hei Hei, and they tweeked the geometry a bit. Still a very nice bike.

No idea, not too familiar with the different Litespeed's. But I don't think it was Kona's version of anything except themselves. It was a North Shore inspired titanium freeride bike, so the inspiration was their own.

Thanks for all the useful info there Paul I was not following the bike scene as, at the time I had a DBR Axis TT and was not looking at bikes...

I hope we go back to Ti as a popular material as it was in the early-mid nineties..

thanks again

Simon

Me too, instead of all these plastic (carbon) bikes that seem to be all the rage now...here anyway. Luckily lots of people still appreciate ti and it's highly appreciated still as a high end frame material.
