Kona pahoehoe 2000 *ride pics added*

Re:New forks and pics

Finally between fixing the avid arch rivals, getting some free time and avoiding the rain I got out for a ride with the new fork on.

It now rides much more like a top line xc bke. The ECC allows complete lock out with no bob and travel reduction. Set a string of strava PB's so pleased with that. Lower weight helps too.

On the downs I could not push it too much as saddle kept slipping but when I sorted that I could just let it go, very impressed. Feels on a par with a Reba.

I prefer the white too and the kashmina look alike stanchions.

So next job is collecting a few bits (new saddle, stem, shifters) and sorting the frame - possibly vapour blasting and new decals.

Cheers Rob, from a distance it does! The Score alike decals and colour scheme help. Close up the paint on the frame is bubbling, chipped as are the decals. Forks are good nick mind. A lot of fun to ride too

Kyle I would definitely get your hands on a Marzocchi Marathon, but if you do make sure it comes with an air adaptor... Did you finish your Kona?

Re:

I did its on page 94 on the kona's thread. Although  i sold the frame and forks as it was just too weighty!
Now have a nos 20" voodoo bokor 2012 frame with some OnOne rigid forks.

Kyle
