Up for grabs is my much-loved Kona Lava Dome, a true '90s classic finished in that unmistakable original green. Built around a 16" steel frame, it’s been thoughtfully modernised with a 10-speed drivetrain to create a practical, capable ride — all while keeping its retro soul firmly intact.

Spec Overview:​

• Frame: 1990s Kona Lava Dome, steel, size 16" (original paint, classic patina)
• Fork: Kona Project 2 rigid steel fork
• Rear Mech: Shimano Dura-Ace 10-speed with a Wolf Tooth RoadLink
• Shifter: 10-speed MTB trigger (Shimano-compatible)
• Cranks: Sugino triple crankset (ideal for conversion if you want to go 1x)
• Brakes: V-brakes – simple, effective and low-maintenance
• Wheels: 26” Rigida original alloy rims with Shimano smooth-running hubs
• Tyres: Tan wall off-road tyres (visually striking and trail-capable)
• Pedals: Rock Bros white flats – grippy and functional
