With genuine sadness I am offering up my Kona Lava Dome. Classic 1997 model - canti bridge or v brake set up possible (as currently fitted). This green is one of the best paint jobs Kona did in this classic year.
Due to work commitments I am looking for local pick up only I'm afraid, and not looking to split at this stage.
£160 gets you the following
1996 Lava Dome in metallic green
P2s
Avid v brake levers (more modern but light as a feather)
LX v brakes (plenty of life in pads)
STX front and rear mechs
Deore LX Cranks
Red wellgo pedals
Red titanium flite
M Part seatpost (very long, gorgeous)
Kona stem
Club roost risers (faded and marked where brace fits. Brace is in the shed and will be chucked in if you want it)
Maxxis tyres
STx / D521 rear wheel
Mavic something or another / alivio front (from a 96 GT Backwoods!)
Cheap seatpost quick release but I might have a Kona seatpost collar in my spares that i'd happily chuck in
Cassette, chain and headset have had less than 100 miles put on them since fitting.
Two older photos:
And some from the last couple of weeks:
Letting this go as I have zero room as anyone who comes to look at it will verify, but more importantly it is because I am six foot 2 and the 19 frame is too small for longer rides.
