Hi bought this as faulty as the seatpost was stuck, thought it just required a bit of a mess.
Wasn't told some genius had managed to hammer a 27.2 into a 27mm hole a full 12 inches in
It's a crying shame as the bike is as it came out of the factory, even still got it's scratch & sniff tyres.(i'll let the pictures tell the rest)

Just needs a donor frame & your good to go ;)
Feel free to ask any questions & i'll try my best.

Could I dib this for a mate for a few minutes please? Promise to be quick!

No joy - I'd better duck out on this before I get too rude

If I hear anything obviously I'll let you know ASAP and thanks very much for hanging on, much appreciated

Free bump.

Lovely frames, I have one and can't see myself selling it. Your one should have an RO50 Silent Clutch rear hub, reasonably unusual bit of kit ;)

Edit.. I'm sure mine takes a 27.2, seatposts do differ in actual dia' though.

Yep tried everything , eventually local engineering firm had a bash at drilling a 25mm hole in the post so it would act as a large shim but damaged the frame tube

Unfortunately down it's length at the rear where the drill bit tried to escape.

Bugger, that's a Shame.

I'd of tried to cut a slot in it all the way down then it would of released itself.
