I've finally dusted off my first proper mtb and it is now time to move this on to a new owner. The fram is a 19" and too big for me.
This is the first Kona Kilauea from 1992, and is relatively rare. It comes with standard Kona double butted steel tubing and has a lovely lively ride.
The forks are the original tripple butted project 2 forks.
Both frame and forks are well used and the paint is worn, but there are now obvious dings, bends or rust. As a restoration project it would be great.
The parts on the bike are part original Kona, but mainly it has been upgraded over the years. The headset is the original Impact, there is the Kona rear brake guide and front hanger.

Brake Levers: Shimano Deore Dx

Cassette: Shimano 7-speed
Cranks: Shimano STX
Bottom Bracket: Shimano
Pedals: Welgo?
Hub Skewers: Blue anodised allen bolt skewers
Hubs: STX
Tyres: Tioga Psycho II
Saddle: Generic
Seatpost: Generic
Seatpost Binder: Generic alloy
I would prefer to sell this as a complete bike, but will consider breaking it down if I don't get any interest in the bike.
I would value this bike at £180 + delivery, but will accept offers if this is considered out. Collection is possible from Macclesfield. I'd also be prepared to deliver within approximately 30 miles of Macclesfield.
