Kona Impact Headset - Crown Race

I'm swapping the components from my Cindercone to my Kilauea, and could do with replacing the crown race in the impact headset - (There's no real wear in the race or cups, but there's a small chip in the race)

Would a LBS have a suitable replacement, or will I need to find a used crown race?

Also - should the impact headsets have a seal on the bottom to keep the muck out.....or would a seal just end up keeping moisture in?

Not sure about the crown race. I suspect your LBS would advise though.
The Impact headsets have a sort of rubber 'boot' over the bottom to keep muck out. Description here: http://www.bikepro.com/arch_products/he ... hset.shtml

From what I've seen it looks like it's just the black headsets that had the rubber boot, but I'm not 100% certain.
