Kona Ho Chi Min

BeTon

Retro Newbie
So the retro MTB virus caught me again..... In the last few weeks I bought a Marin, a Kona, 2 Wheelers (for the components) and a Koga. Pics will follow. Yesterday I found another Kona which I am thinking about buying. It is a Kona Ho Chi Min, seems to be a steel frame, but I cannot find any info abuot this particular Ho Chi Min model.

What do you think? Any info on this model?

That's not a Kona buddy, someone has stuck a Kona sticker on it, step away please ;)

If you want a real Kona I have a 1993 Lava Dome I'd send to the Netherlands:

That's a thing of beauty! I owned a Lava Dome in the early nineties that was stolen after just a few months. Always loved the lava dome. But I already bought a 94 Cinder Cone race light which will hopefull turn out as beautiful as yours.

But no info on the Ho Chi Min? I agree, it doesn't look at all like a nineties steel framed Kona, but that is what intrigues me... :)

Sorry to hear about your old bike, glad you found a nice Kona.

The Ho Chi Min is NOT a Kona, someone has stuck a sticker on that bike so please don't buy it.

There is a trail in British Columbia with this name though:
