sounds like a fair price to me, but you'll have more chance reaching it if you split the bike.

Centre BB to top of seat tube is closer to 19 inches. I am 5 10 and frame size is perfect....does that sound right now??

Centre seat tube to centre head tube is 22.5 inches.

I'm interested but I have a question on the sizing...according to the below table the 'top tube' measurement is 23.5", which would be great. Just wanted to get an idea of your inseam.....thanks.

My 22.5 measurment was simply straight along the top tube centre to centre seat tube to headtube. if you measure per that drawing it is slightly longer though not quite 23.5 inches.

It is the correct frame size for my size and shape.

If it helps you any I had a 2008 Kona Caldera which was an 18 inch modern frame size and was perfect. I would actually say that although guys on here tell me it is calssed as an 19 frame it is pretty much the same "fit" as my 18 Caldera was. My Ragley MMMbop is an 18 and again is perfect. I am bang between M and L on modern Specialized MTB frame size. My current road bike is a 56 S-Works tarmac again perfect. My inseam is 33 inches.

I wholly agree that it is a shame to split but money needed to fund purchase of stumpy carbon evo which does not come cheap and is already ordered so no time for regrets now!!

I think easiest split for me is to do a deal on frame, XTR front mech, CK headset and Syncros seatpost which are all original 97/97 parts and other than the wheels probably of most interest on this forum.

Cranks, brakes forks etc can all go onto ebay though these forks are a superb option for someone wanting an everyday retro ride with a more modrern 80mm air fork and canti bosses present.

Am also selling 2009 enduro to part fund but it is going straight onto fleabay.
