Kona Explosif Year?

Hello, I would like to know what year this Kona Explosif is from.

1989, based on the decals and rear u-brake.

That looks like a very rare colour, as the 89 Explosif was pistachio green (at least in UK).

It has the Track 2 fork - I think that came out in 1990?

Do you know the history of the bike and where it was bought new?

That looks like an Art Department special As mentioned, with a Track 2 fork, that makes it an 89 or 90 model. The SN should help us confirm.

I've seen quite a few early, custom painted, Explosifs. Definitely an 88/89 frame
