There's a strange feeling of euphoria when you completely restore a valuable bike and put some scrapes on it falling on a tricky descent.

The above picture is what my explosif started its life as, I was told "its not a pro model" but I was sure it was.

I got mine frame only in 94 after it had been stripped and the parts sold off separately, I built it with m900 xtr though and mag 20 forks, I sold it in 96 then bought it back from the same guy 5 or 6 years ago, its now been rebuilt and restored aslmost exactly as I had it then and its lovely.

Liking your forks, I remember them, they're a combination or weird and cool!

Here was mine. Full spec apart from the titanium handlebar. I searched hi and low for the forks and bar but gave up in the end. Might have kept it if I did. Can't wait to see how yours turns out. Its looking sweet so far
