27.2 won't fit in my Explosif past the seat tube/top tube junction, which is where the size starts to count. Simply won't go any further. I was rather hoping it would, as I have a spare ti 27.2. :cry:

Thanks, i have 27.0 and 26.8, but the 26.8 is cooler

My 92 Explosif has a 26.8mm fitted. I measured the opening with a vernier and that looked best fit. Its 18" and I'm quite light on a saddle.

Seems fine to me.

as mentioned above,the diameter changes about 3" down where the tubes all intersect,there is a distinct lip all the way around,so distinct it feels machined.
AND for the umpteeth time,you CANNOT measure a bore with a micrometer,you need a bore gauge... i stick with my guns,27.0 is the correct size

my 26.8 probably wouldn't slide down even without the clamp tightened would never get 27.2mm in. 27mm may do.

Your guns are correct. It's a 27.0.
