Kona experts Opinion on price.

you are right with your estimation that it is a 96 Lava Dome. I like the colour of the frame, but I dont like the build. The frame is to small for the rider. Check the seatube for cracks, as the long seatpost with a heavy rider could do some damage to the frame.
Would pay $ 80 if only the frame and some of the kit would be of use for me. The other parts I would dump - like the frontwheel, saddle, aso.

But dont know what your intention is for it.

Re:

40ish quid here, maybe 50 if in really good condition and all the parts are in excellent condition.

And you the valuatuon (which this is either way) has a forum and it does get looked at as most like me use the what's new view of the forum.

It's just there no point posting on something that either has no pictures and little detail or mainly we just don't know.

I also ignore anything that just gets put in the info thread there and not as a new topic in the forum.
(I know this thread is in the section, but I'm guessing it wasn't?)

Re:

Thank you, your help is greatly appreciated. I have been looking for a steel Kona to add to the hoard .The seller says the frame and components are like new but I think we all have been disappointed by some peoples definition of new before. I agree that the wheelset and seat would need to go but that's ok I have spares.

Re:

Just wanted to add they should change the title of the forum to what is xyz worth and take MY out of it. It implies your selling.

Re:

Not sure of the exchange rate at the moment so can only talk in £.

The frame looks in good condition and the fork is a P2, which is good as they can go for quite a lot, especially if triple-butted. I would have thought that the F&F are worth paying around £60-70 for, plus extra if the components are in good condition.

If you want to add one to your collection you aren't being robbed at $150 IMO.

But ditch the shifters and the wheels!
