Kona Curve cantilevers help

Picked up a 90's Kona and a few of its parts.Impact headset, Stx cranks, Curve brakes and Aluminium velocity stem. Frame was painted (then someone tried resto with a 40g flap disk. Ouch) i'm guessing Lava dome 96~97 ? ? Not sure. . Anyway my main question is apart from springs what is missing from the brakes? ? I could maybe fabricate something if i had a pic. of what houses the spring.
Any help gratefully accepted.

Speaking of which, can anyone post a photo (or schematic) of the Curve calipers in a properly mounted configuration (I wish to determine if the flat/smooth side, or the dished/stepped side mounts toward the fork/stay)?
