Kona Curve Brakes?

i found a set of these at my LBS and then hit the KONA catalogs here and it looks like they were only produced one year or am i wrong? looks like they are mentioned in the 1996 catalog and then never again.... yall got any info?

these are not kona issue curve brakes

these are proper curve before they sold they rights to kona,

I have the "Kona" versions on my 1997 A'ha.
They're nothing special IMO. And a bit of a faff to set up.

Kaiser, are the proper ones any better?
