I suppose the best way to look at it is as a frame with some usable bits once the issues are sorted. Like it a lot but maybe not enough to traipse all the way down there on a whim, if I should bid and get it for a reasonable sum. And do I need another bike.... :?

As others have said, for the parts alone, as its stock its a good starting price. As per mine, getting a hub can be a costly affair!
It's a "cheap" alternative to a stars and bars Hot. Well that's what I tell myself!!
Riding wise it's good fun. Not the lightest but that's not the point.
